This mysterious tower will take over the mind of an attacking unit, making it turn against its allies until the tower is disabled or destroyed. (or until the unit is killed)
- The cool-down on the mind-control is 20 seconds
- Units such as the Lone Wolf which are controlled by the mind flayer tower do not heal. Instead it multiplies the hit points of the controlled unit by 2 from level 14 on.
- The mind flayer tower can only control 1 unit at a time
- This is the alternate form of the silence tower unlocked at level 12
